Hi, I’m Brittany
— the photographer behind BW Photography, based in Newton Aycliffe. I’m also a proud mum to my 7-year-old son, Charles, who inspires me every day and reminds me just how precious those little moments can be.
I’ve loved photography from a very early age. What began as a childhood passion has grown into my full-time career — and still remains my favourite hobby. Even after all these years, picking up my camera never feels like “work.” It’s something I truly enjoy and feel grateful to do every day.
From my welcoming home studio, I specialise in newborn, family, cake smash, and children’s photography, along with a variety of seasonal themed sessions throughout the year. My goal is to create a relaxed, friendly experience that allows real personalities and genuine moments to shine.
I also travel across the country for weddings and special events, capturing the emotions, details, and memories that matter most.
Photography is more than pictures — it’s storytelling, connection, and freezing beautiful moments in time. And I feel honoured every time a family chooses me to tell their story.

Terms & Conditions
📅 Booking & Deposits
• A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your session.
• Dates cannot be held without a deposit.
• Remaining balances must be paid on or before the session date. Do not leave my home studio without paying your remaining balance.

⏰ Cancellations & Rescheduling
• If you need to reschedule, please give at least 48 hours notice where possible.
• Deposits are non-refundable but can be transferred once to a new date if notice is given.
• No-shows or last-minute cancellations will require a new deposit for future bookings.

📸 Session Expectations
• • Please arrive on time — lateness affects the flow of your session and my schedule for the day.
• For 15-minute mini sessions: If you are more than 5 minutes late, your session will be automatically cancelled with no refund or transfer of deposit.
• For longer sessions: If you are more than 15 minutes late, your session will be automatically cancelled and a new deposit will be required to rebook.
• As my studio is also inside my home, I kindly ask all clients to respect the space, belongings, and surroundings.
• No phones or personal cameras are to be used to take photos or videos during your session — you are booking my professional photography services, and this helps maintain quality and flow.
• If children are attending, parents/guardians are fully responsible for their safety and behaviour during the session.
• I will always do my best to capture a beautiful variety of images, but cooperation from little ones is essential.

🖼️ Editing & Turnaround
• Home shoots: Edited and sent out within 1–4 days.
• Prints: Ready 1 week after you have chosen your photo(s).
• Weddings:
— 15–20 preview photos delivered on the wedding day.
— Full gallery delivered within 2–3 weeks after the wedding.
• I do not release unedited RAW files under any circumstances.

💻 Pricing & Orders
I wanted to give everyone a little heads-up that prices will be increasing from 1st January.
My prices have only gone up by £5 in the last five years, but with how much the cost of everything has risen, I do need to make a small adjustment to continue offering the quality and time each session deserves.
Here’s the new pricing starting 1st January:

• 6x4: £5 ➝ £7
• A4: £7.50 ➝ £9.50

🔒 Image Use & Copyright
• All images remain the copyright of the photographer.
• Clients receive personal-use rights for images they purchase.
